Termidor®

Developed by BASF, its base chemical fipronil has been used since 1995 to control fleas, ticks and other household pests and has been used on agricultural crops to protect food supplies from insect damage. However, based on research, it was found that the product could also be used as a preventive and curative solution against subterranean termites as well.

So, for termites, Termidor® is a non-repellent termiticide that utilizes the active ingredient fipronil to eradicate termite colonies.
